Preparando el trabajo de campo // Preparing for fieldwork {Anthro Design 2019-2}
{ESP} Esta semana los alumnos presentaron y recibieron feedback de los avances de los reportes (de planificación y recolección de datos) que entregarán la próxima semana. Por esto, el lunes se vieron ejemplos de reportes de investigación científica y revisamos algunas herramientas de recolección como las notas de campo y las observaciones. También hablamos sobre la dificultad de hacer una encuesta, el cuándo hacerla y cuando NO. Finalmente, recordamos la idea de modelos mentales propios y cómo estos afectan nuestra recepción y entendimiento de la realidad de un otro.
{ENG} This week the students presented and received feedback on their progress in the reports (about planning and data recollection) that they will turn in next week. For this reason, on Monday we saw a few examples of good scientific research reports as well as presenting a few new tools for their research, such as field notes and observation. We also talked about polls, how to create a good poll, when to use them, and when NOT to. Finally, we remembered mental maps, which we learned about a few classed ago, and how they affect how we receive someone else’s reality.
